July 15, 2026

The 32nd International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV32), one of the world’s leading international conferences in acoustics and vibration, was successfully held from July 5 to 10, 2026, in Istanbul, Türkiye. The congress was jointly organized by the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV) and the Turkish Acoustics Society (TAKDER).

Themed “Acoustics from Historic Heritage to Future Cities,” ICSV32 brought together leading experts, researchers, and professionals from around the world to exchange the latest developments in acoustics and vibration. Key topics included acoustic heritage, architectural and urban acoustics, environmental challenges, advanced materials, acoustic digitalization, AI-driven analysis, advanced measurement, and innovative design.

Representatives of the Association of Natural Sciences and Information Engineering of the Asia-Pacific were invited to attend the congress and participated in academic exchanges with researchers and professionals from different countries and regions. The event provided a valuable opportunity for the Association to expand its international academic network and strengthen connections with researchers in acoustics, vibration, engineering, and related interdisciplinary fields.

In addition to the scientific program, ICSV32 featured a technology exhibition showcasing advanced instruments, software, and practical solutions, as well as satellite activities including advanced courses and workshops organized by the Academy of Vibration and Acoustics (AVA).

Through its participation in ICSV32, the Association further strengthened its engagement with the international academic community and explored opportunities for future academic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region.
